Herbarium offers the reader in depth analysis of plants that are foraged in the backyard.

This simple, clean, and elegant publication design offers a very different take on the traditional home and garden magazine.

 

 The illustrations are reflective of the monthly rotation on the cover, and are done in a botanical magazine style.

 

That being said, the fluidity of typography for the logo, as well as the whimsical accents colors within bridge the gap between the dated garden magazines of old and the modern minimalistic designs of today.
