Kim's Home Cooking

Kim's Home Cooking is a neighborhood Korean restaurant that specializes fast, affordable, delicious food. 

 

The premise of Kim’s Home Cooking rebrand was not only make the restaurant more eye-catching from the side of the road, but also add in some fun and familiar details to a younger audience.

 

Through the use of graffiti typography and playful colors, the logo stands out from the road. The shape of the egg icon, a specific reference to the importance of bibimbap at Kim’s, not only playfully presents the food, but also alludes to the shape of South Korea.

 

The grey color brings the playful yellow, orange, and white a modern and clean surface to bounce off of, because Kim’s is not just a family friendly restaurant, but a quick, cheap and convenient location for college students on the weekdays.
